Venture Capital Clubs . . .
are informal groups of venture capitalists,
entrepreneurs, financial strategists, accountants, and lawyers that meet
regularly to discuss matters of interest, exchange ideas, and share
opportunities. They provide a common meeting ground for persons
interested in entrepreneurial activity. There are many of these clubs
across the United States. If one exists nearby, management should
explore the opportunities it provides to become acquainted with the
venture capital infrastructure of the area. See:
Networking,
Venture
Capital Conferences.
