Unit Offerings . . .

are sales of company securities when more than one type of security is sold as a single unit, or when investors are required to purchase securities in blocks of shares. The term is frequently used to refer to private placements or public offerings where investors are offered the opportunity to purchase "units" that consist of a share of stock and a warrant to purchase more stock in the future.
